Not knowing where to eat during our “visa run,” Michael struck up a conversation with a pharmacist who was “amazed” at our level of Mandarin–this was a wonderful change from the dumb looks we often get in HK, where the locals speak Cantonese. The pharmacist recommended this nice place. The meal cost half of what we’d pay in HK, but we had to spend 200HK ($25US) to get there and back!
