It’s “State Fair” time, but due to COVID the buildings are functionally closed. So, the Fair became “drive through” this year. You can see some of the outdoor exhibits, including local art. The central photo shows one of the buildings the Columbia International Festival takes place in, every April. COVID will likely cancel the Festival again next April, so we wanted to see if the “drive through Fair” would give us ideas for alternative festivities. Our grandkids seemed to enjoy the displays, as well as the cotton candy, elephant ears and corn dogs (enjoyed in a local park, NOT Grandpa’s car!).
